Chinese-inspired wellness for everyday life.

Editorial policy

Yangsheng Daily uses structured source and risk controls while presenting traditional wellness systems with care.

Traditional frameworks and evidence

Five Elements, seasonal traditions, and food energetics are framed as traditional concepts. Traditional correspondence does not establish biomedical causation. Canonical data and traceable source records are preferred; unsupported values are not silently inferred and may remain blank or unpublished.

Source approach

The evidence model distinguishes primary traditional texts, academic secondary sources, modern clinical sources, institutional references, editorial references, and unverified material. Unverified material is not sufficient authority for evidence-backed claims.

Content risk and review status

Lower-risk history, symbolism, and self-reflection content are handled differently from food energetics and other health-adjacent material. Diagnosis, disease treatment, dosage, medication interactions, and pregnancy treatment are outside Release 1. Descriptive traditional-reference content relies on transparent sourcing and editorial evidence review. Actionable, biomedical, individualized, or safety-sensitive claims require stronger review; higher-risk content remains in preview or blocked from publication until truthful governance and review information is available.

Authorship

Editorial content may be published under Rowan Thal, the disclosed pen name used by the site’s founder and editor. A pen name is an editorial identity, not a claim of professional medical, nutritional, or traditional-medicine credentials. Professional review, where required, remains a separate role.

Tools and corrections

The Five Elements Personality Test is an editorial self-reflection tool, not a diagnosis, Body Constitution assessment, or BaZi/astrology calculation. Reliable corrections can lead to updates in canonical records or editorial content.
