Hot and cold foods: five traditional categories

“Hot and cold foods” is useful search language, but Yangsheng Daily’s canonical model has five traditional thermal categories.

The complete spectrum

Hot, warm, neutral, cool, and cold are distinct traditional classifications. They are not a measure of serving temperature, spice, metabolism, inflammation, or biomedical pathology.
